Officially launched in 2010, the Asian Business Assistance Center (ABAC) offers Asian–American business owners and young professionals valuable training and business knowledge to build their companies. USPAACC–SW has secured the support of Wells Fargo and Texas Health Resources as Legacy Corporate Members for this program. The chamber has also secured Legacy Sponsorship from Software Professionals, Inc. and Hypernet Solutions, Inc. PepsiCo’s IT Director Russ Damron serves as the IT Focus Group training champion.
The ABAC provides a forum for Asian American companies, business owners and entrepreneurs to connect, discuss, learn and successfully conduct business with each other and to provide opportunities to develop business relationships Fortune Corporations and other businesses, all the while promoting and nurturing their personal and professional growths.
This program also assists Asian American companies with the potential to advance especially in the areas of accessing capital and navigating minority and government certification processes.
New Program - Construction Consortium Training Project (ACCP)
USPAACC-Southwest announces a new training program to offer Asian American construction companies special training to better compete in the construction industry. The Asian Construction Consortium Training Project seeks to provide a forum for Asian American construction companies and business owners to connect, discuss, learn and successfully do business with the cities around the metroplex and other businesses while promoting and nurturing their personal and professional development.
In the last decade, the number of Asian-owned businesses in Texas has doubled, providing vast (albeit relatively untapped) economic opportunities for the region. With close to $500 billion dollars in purchasing power, Asian Americans are still the most affluent consumer group in the United States. Tapping into the Asian entrepreneurial spirit is therefore essential to making the North Texas region another major economic hub in Texas and the United States. The EXPO brings together individual consumers, Asian American suppliers, non-profit organizations, government agencies and major corporations under one roof for business-to-business matching opportunities.
In the event’s short history, we have welcomed speakers and VIP guests including high-ranking government officials, CEOs of major Fortune corporations, reporters from major broadcast networks, and many more. Special programs have included the Woman’s Business Symposium, the One-on-One Franchise Zone, and the US-China Business Connection which brought our event to the global scale! Please come join us at the upcoming Asian Business EXPO.
Learn MoreThe goal of the Women Business Symposium (WBS) is to provide relevant training and business knowledge to help Asian and minority women-owned companies expand and leverage their businesses. The WBS aims to increase visibility of local women-owned, Asian and minority business enterprises to key decision makers from corporations and federal, state and local government agnecies.
Learn MoreUSPAACC’s certification is recognized by Fortune corporations, and is as thorough and complex as other well-known minority certification processes conducted by other national organizations, including NMSDC and WBENC.
Our certification increases business opportunities with Fortune companies and Government agencies. Since 1989, USPAACC’s Asian American Business Certification program has provided corporate and government supplier diversity and small business programs with qualified and quality suppliers they seek.
Certified members have the advantage of being selected for consideration for minority contract opportunities when they become available. Over the course of 30-years, USPAACC has leveraged its strong ties and relationships with prime contractors and Federal agencies to successfully match our supplier members with Fortune corporations and Government agencies.
